Greetings Cavalier Basketball fans!
It’s hard to believe that the summer is history and we’re getting ready for the 2009-2010 Basketball Season. We’re excited to support the continuation of successes achieved last year with our Varsity team posting a 10-0 District Championship record along with a combined 103 win season for all the Cavalier teams. To stay updated on the current happenings with the team and program please go to our web-site: www.cavalierbasketball.org.
To tip-off this 2009-2010 season, TWCP Fast Break Club invites all of you to join us for our Meet the Coaches Night on Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM in the CP High School Gym. The is the first official Booster Club event and it is very important that all parents and supporters of the program attend.
In this meeting we’ll briefly review the Booster Clubs goals and objectives and outline where the opportunities are for your participation in the Club. Head Basketball Coach Clifton McNeely will highlight the meeting with his overview of the boys basketball program. At the end of our meeting there will be plenty of time for you to visit our Booster Club tables for Memberships, Advertising, Sponsorships, Player Ads and this seasons Clothing Display.
Your packet includes: 1) 2009-2010 Membership Form; 2) FBC Advertising Sponsorship Form; 3) The Player Ad Form; 4) FBC Payment Form; and 5) FBC Data Base Form. You can return these forms on September 14th – the clothing will be on display at the meeting and the Merchandise Order Form will be provided at the meeting.
Our Booster Club exists to enthusiastically support the Boys Basketball program in the most positive manner possible. For the Booster Club to be successful we need a combination of your enthusiasm for the program, volunteer time to assist in our promotional activities and financial support. It is important to note that all proceeds for the program will first be used to cover equipment expenses (for all the teams) and travel expenses for out of town tournaments, with the available funds remaining at the end of the season going toward scholarships to graduating seniors headed for college.
We look forward to a great season and seeing you all at our Tip-Off meeting.
Sincerely,
Scott Mactier
President
